We were utterly reliant on Checkatrade to discover us a reliable contractor for our home improvement. We joined and listed our needs, but unfortunately, we were left in the lurch.

Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade favors their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

It all starts with their sneaky fees, which they hide in the small stuff. Then, there's the terrible customer service that's about as useful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to get your money back, but it's like talking to a wall.

Then, the response from website the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and sent us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to talk about the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up getting ripped off by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's support was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling disappointed and warn everyone against using them for your tradesman needs.

My rundown with Checkatrade became a total disaster. I engaged a trader through their website to complete some essential home repairs. They appeared legitimate at first, but it ended up a appalling ordeal.

Even though I paid the full amount upfront, the work never started. Getting a response ceased. It's been months, and I'm still left with unfinished repairs.

Their customer service has been unhelpful throughout this whole process. They offered no solutions. It feels like I've been scammed.
